Mustang Pointe Aerodrome, Corporate Hangars located at the Deland Airport



Executive Team Double Ace Development is the corporation supporting the project Mustang Pointe Aerodrome Condominium Association. Jerry Coone and Bob Nass have been partners in Double Ace Development since 2003 developing and managing projects such as Mustang Pointe Aerodrome as well as retaining other business venues together such as Sawgrass, Jay Real Estate, 1755 Lexington, to mention only a few. They have established a business relationship over the course of several years and share an enthusiasm for central Florida’s continued growth and development. MPA was originally sought out by Double Ace Development to provide the Deland area with a high class alternative to your standard T-hangars you will find at most smaller airports. This project has flourished and is now beginning it’s Phase II.

Robert Nass - Partner Robert Nass has developed and managed both commercial and residential real estate for the past thirty seven years. This very successful developer, maintains ownership in several business development projects in the Northeast United States, North Carolina, and Florida. Mr. Nass's projects range in size and complexity from construction of hospitals, supermarkets, schools, and churches to restaurants, lodges, and aircraft hangars. Amongst his accredited developments significant to his qualifications for this proposal, are two notable airport planning and hangar land lease projects. His first in the early 90's working with the Fort Pierce Airport Authority and a present business venue currently in Phase II of aircraft hangar development at the Deland Airport here in Volusia County.

Jerry Coone - Partner and Project Manager As Operating Project Manager for Mustang Pointe Aerodrome, as well as Jet Park Daytona, LLC, Jerry Coone plays an “active” role in every phase in the production of these projects. Starting his own firm in 1967, after several years of working for others, he became a Florida “Class A” General Contractor and is a past and current Florida licensed real estate broker as well. Many accomplishments have been noted state wide in his career, earning him the “Builder of the Year Award” in 1980 as well as holding a permanent position as Past President of the Pinellas County Contractors and Builders Association. He has extensive experience in developing condominiums including Halifax River Club, Hacienda Del Sol in New Smyrna Beach, Bay Islands in South Pasadena (700 waterfront condominiums consisting of 3 to 17 story buildings), multiple Econo Lodges in the greater Florida area and various shopping centers as well. On a personal note, Jerry has four grown children and has been married to his second wife Terri, for 20 years.



In addition, Mr. Nass and Mr. Coone are long time residents of Volusia County, accomplished professionals and respected members of the community. Partnering on both projects, Mustang Pointe Aerodrome and Jet Park Daytona, LLC, these developers possess the development experience, financial ability to support these projects, and the aviation background to successfully develop an aircraft hangar complex that surpasses them all.
